EMERSON’S NEW NAME
First, you may have noticed that our name has changed. We decided to drop ‘Personnel’ and simply go with Emerson Group. We believe this is a better reflection of who we are as a company. Our core business of staffing and recruiting remains the same, but we have added consulting services around these functions to help our clients meet a broader range of needs. We constantly strive to create valuable partnerships with our clients and become a consistent resource for their growing business. By providing these additional services we feel we can create a relationship that is less transactional and more collaborative.
NEW STAFF MEMBERS
At the same time, Emerson Group is growing! Business is at its highest level since prior to the “Great Recession”. Our staffing services are booming and direct hire has been steadily increasing. Add our consulting services to the mix and the result is the need for expansion. We started by hiring Kathy Fitzpatrick to our Business Development team. Kathy brings with her a wealth of sales experience and will work closely with our Director of Business Development, Flo Ryan. Together they will continue to strengthen the relationships we have with existing clients and additionally reach out to prospective companies to discuss how Emerson Group can help them become more successful.
NEW PHILADELPHIA BRANCH OFFICE
Another exciting announcement is that we opened a new branch office in Center City Philadelphia on January 2, 2013. This office will be operated and managed by two well respected industry veterans and will create a much greater presence for Emerson Group in the Philadelphia market. As you can imagine, our Center City clients are thrilled. Missy McNamara Quinn will use her 15 years of industry experience to service our clients as Director of Recruiting. Missy has a tremendous track record of exceeding customer expectations and we are proud to have her as a member of the Emerson Group team. Lynn Fraser Schratwieser is our new Director of Business Development for Philadelphia. She also has extensive industry experience and has worked the Philadelphia market for nearly 15 years. Needless to say, we are thrilled to have them both and we are anxious to get the office up and running.
