Emerson Group and The Job Exchange proudly attended the 2nd Annual Mid Atlantic Staffing Association (MASA) Industry Awards on September 11, 2025. Several team members were recognized across multiple categories, with Renee Stipa receiving the honor of Direct Hire Recruiter of the Year.

Award Categories & Nominations:

1. Direct Hire Recruiter of the Year – Both Sue Whelan and Renee Stipa were nominated, with Renee winning this year, after being nominated last year too.
2. Staffing Employee of the Year – Congratulations to Sue Whelan for also being nominated in a second category.
3. Owner/President of the Year – Bill Emerson, our President, was nominated again after winning last year.
4. Operations Professional of the Year – Karen Miller, Marketing Manager, was recognized in this newly added category.
5. Sales Development Professional of the Year – Congratulations to Lori Colasanti on her nomination, and to Flo Ryan for being recognized again following her win last year.
6. Industry Partner of the Year – We extend congratulations to all the finalists and winners in this category.
