Emerson Group is celebrating Bill Emerson’s 25 years with the company. Bill joined the family business back in 1990 as a recruiter concentrating in the health care industry, then outside sales, and moving onto division manager. In 1998, company founders Skip and Annette Emerson decided to ease their way out of the day-to-day operations and Bill stepped in as president. In 2013 Emerson Group expanded and opened their Philadelphia office. As the president, Bill continually strives to create a work environment that breed’s success and allows people to grow. “Creating an environment that helps both clients and employees reach their personal, professional and financial goals is my number one priority. When this is accomplished, everything else falls into place.” He continues, “Emerson’s foundation is built on honesty, integrity, communication, and loyalty. My parents established this in 1971 and we all still live by it today. Yes, I am biased, but I truly believe the team we have put together is the most talented and professional group in the industry.”
On a personal note, Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and currently resides with his wife and two children in Moorestown, NJ. He is extremely active in the community and current board member of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties, President of the Mid-Atlantic Staffing Association (MASA), Chairman of Tri-State Human Resources Career Management Committee, and past President of Moorestown Football Parents Club, The Tender, Urban Promise Development Committee, and Garden State Rotary Club.
